Barbara Yudd founded in 1996 when her first child was born. Working as a full time Accountant Manager for a local company at the time, she decided that a nanny would be the best childcare option for her family. When the nanny was hired, Barbara discovered that household employers have the same tax obligations as any other corporation; including withholding and matching FICA taxes, and remitting payments to the tax agencies on the Federal, State and local level, and year-end reporting to employees and tax authorities.
